- Westlynn
is bordered by Lynn Canyon park on the east and the Upper Levels Highway
to the west.
- Using
Mountain Highway as a dividing line, much of the western section of
Westlynn has been developed in the last twenty years or so, whereas
the eastern section is older. While mostly single family residences,
the western portion offers some apartments and townhouses.
- The
eastern side of Westlynn is terraced down to Lynn Creek which is surrounded
by park land. Views are of Lynn Valley and of the west flank of Mount
Seymour. Residences are mostly ranchers (one of the few parts of NV
to offer them), with a few split-levels and two level bungalows.
- The
western side of Westlynn is generally flatter and consists of broader
streets. Many lots are occupied by newer, large homes.
- Two
elementary schools are located there. The nearest high schools are
Argyle in Lynn Valley and Sutherland in the
Boulevard area.

The north/south divide of Westlynn is
Mountain Highway, which, when taken north takes you
to the Lynn Valley Centre; where there is a large food store,
a department store, a liquor store and numerous other small boutiques
and services.
Going south on Mountain Highway quickly takes you to Keith Road,
then east on Keith Road and left on Brooksbank Avenue
brings you to the Park and Tilford Shopping Centre. This shopping
centre offers a large food store, a number of smaller shops including
a private wine store, and a large theatre. Don't forget to visit the
picturesque Park & Tilford Gardens.
