  • Pemberton Heights is a study in contrasts. Situated on the lower slopes of North Vancouver and overlooking the harbour, it was originally developed in the 1930's. But, you really have to know how to get into PH, because there are only two entrances, both hard to find.
  • It offers long, wide lots looking to the inlet and city beyond. The views from Pemberton Heights are prized for their “close-up” feel.

  • Whereas, the southern edge of the area, on Keith Road, is lined by expensive luxurious homes with stunning views to the south. The northern part, offers more “affordable” housing, but few views. That portion is composed mostly of medium to small sized single family homes with generous gardens. The small streets lined with trees, provide a pleasant quiet atmosphere.
  •  There is one part of PH that offers low rise apartments, small to medium size, ranging from $160,000 - $250,0000.
     
    Only one elementary school is directly located in the area, but another is nearby to the north in Capilano Highlands, and a foot bridge is provided to cross the Upper Levels Highway, to the north.

    In Pemberton Heights all roads lead to Marine Drive (ecept the one that leads to the Highway). This large east-west artery offers every conceivable amenity. One large food store, located immediately on the southern border of Pemberton Heights is available, and a couple of minutes drive to the east on Marine Drive takes you to Capilano Mall which has two department stores, a liquor store and numerous other boutiques and services. Driving west quickly leads you to the Park Royal Shopping Centre, at the municipal boundary of West Vancouver.
