Norgate is a unique enclave
within the boundaries of North Vancouver. Originally developed in the 1940's
as worker housing for the people building ships in the shipyards, it has
evolved with time to be appreciated as one of the few places that offered

Norgate is a quiet neighbourhood of shady, narrow crescents lined

Marine Drive is at most 4 blocks away, and connects to
everywhere on the North Shore. Nearby is a large Save-On-Foods
store, restaurants, and services. Mini-malls line Marine Drive. Going
west on Marine drive immediately takes you to West Vancouver
and the Park Royal Shopping Centre, recently renovated, it is
one of the largest shopping centres in the region.
