- Forest
Hills, south
of Handsworth Rd and west of Skyline Drive, along Mosquito
Creek, (a natural north-south boundary between Forest Hills and Upper
Delbrook), is a small, smoothly sloped area of older homes, facing
south and southwest. A few homes have views, and many have been upgraded
or renovated. Most homes maintain a low profile, hugging the ground,
and are set on fairly wide lots.
- Abundant
greenery, with relatively few tall trees, allow for a lot of open
vistas. An area of purely single family homes with no apartments or
townhouses, the residents are a mix of older people and newcomers
that have opted to purchase a home in one of the most actively desired
areas in North Vancouver.
- As
in most neighbourhoods of North Vancouver, there is one elementary
school located in Forest Hills. A high school (Handsworth) is situated
in nearby Canyon Heights.
- Price
Range: from $799,000 to over $1,729,000
with a median list price of $ 1,266,500.
